“What a surprisingly fun and enriching experience,” wrote one attendee. “The interaction with the staff and the archival material was informative and truly moving—the ship’s log for the Thaddeus after all! The tea and accompanying sandwiches were very tasty. It was a very nice experience.”

Another guest described the archival component as “breathtaking,” noting: “It was breathtaking to hold the historic documents that we did. The presentations were very informative and well done. The tea service was excellent. The music was lovely and at a perfect volume for enjoyment and conversation.”

Several attendees highlighted the program’s unique blend of education and hospitality.
