Celebrating Home and 200 Years of the 1821 Mission House

Over the years, our Huaka‘i gala event has been a fun and exciting time for Hawaiian Mission Houses ‘ohana to gather, enjoy wonderful music and entertainment, and raise funds for our school programs. Let’s keep the tradition going, in our primarily virtual format, respecting ongoing COVID issues.

The theme this year is, “Celebrating Home and 200 Years of the 1821 Mission House.” Our homes became so much more in this past year. For educators and families, homes became not only the place to learn life lessons, but the actual replacement for brick and mortar schools.

Join your Hawaiian Mission Houses friends and family to support educators and keiki through our Huaka‘i at-home event September 18, and online auction, September 12-19. Reserve tickets and “tables” today to bring Huaka‘i festivities to your home, and watch here for the auction link.

Can’t join us for the September 18 event? Please make a donation today—you are an important part of bringing 19th century Hawai‘i to life for children and educators around the world. Click HERE to donate. Mahalo for your support!
